System shock cyborg midwife1/29/2024 ![]() However, at the time, I just “couldn’t get into it” and ended up abandoning it without even completing the first level.įlash forward to a few days before writing this review, and I was trying to work out which horror game to review next. Since I’d previously tried to play the first game from 1994, I was at least curious about the second one. ![]() I like to think it does that well.Well, this review is long overdue! Sometime during the second half of the 2010s, GOG had a giveaway and I was able to pick up a copy of “System Shock 2” (1999) for free. So I'm releasing this to fill a gap: mostly cybernetic, System Shock 2-style body (based on cyberblutch's interpretation of the cybernetics) while using cyberblutch's original face. The other alternate texture is more flesh and less cybernetic, except in the face-and I particularly like cyberblutch's face as it was released.ZylonBane's texture recreates the original, more horrific (see the face in particular) look of System Shock 2.Eldron's clearly doesn't into the same category of non-nudity, though it certainly isn't attractive as cyberblutch's originally was.And as I see it, this fills a niche between the other versions already released: This is probably what most people use today.Ī modified version of Cyberblutch's texture, similar to yours also exists.Īnd an all around new and better midwife was created by Eldron and will be released soon. However this problem (if ye can call tit tat) was solved several times already:Ī fixed midwife that uses the new mesh with a refitted (by ZylonBane) original texture is part of the complemented version of Rebirth.
